Dr. Paul Kirschner did his undergraduate study at Northern Illinois University. He then attended Illinois College of Optometry, receiving his Bachelor of Visual Science degree in 1975 and his doctor of Optometry degree in 1977. Following graduation, Dr. Paul went into full time practice with his father, Dr. Harold Kirschner to form what is now Kirschner vision Group. Dr. Paul served as an Assistant Professor of Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry from 1977 to 1998, teaching binocular vision, strabismus and optics as well as assisting in the clinic at the Eye Institute. Dr. Paul is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Illinois Optometric Association, and the South Suburban Optometric Association. Dr. Paul enjoys all aspects of modern Optometric practice, and is very skilled at diagnosing and treating learning problems related to poor vision skills. Dr. Kirschner enjoys giving seminars to teachers on the relationship between vision and learning.
Dr. Paul is also heavily involved in international, vocational and community service through his associations with Rotary International, Lions Club and other organizations. Dr. Paul is married and has three grown sons. In his spare time, he enjoys family, golf, bowling and travel.
Dr. Kenneth Kirschner
Dr. Ken Kirschner is a 1982 graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry and has been in practice in the South Suburbs since his graduation. Dr. Ken holds certification in diagnostic and therapeutic drugs and provides high quality treatment for vision and medical problems of the eye. Dr. Ken specializes in Industrial Vision, and has developed "Sight on Site," a specialized program that provides eyecare and vision safety consulting in many metropolitan Chicago factories.
Dr. Ken is active in optometric activities, is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Illinois Optometric Association and has served as President of the Chicago South Suburban Optometric Society. In addition to his professional service, Dr. Ken is very active in the community. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Greater Illinois Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis society, a member of the Anita M. Stone JCC Board of Trustees, a member of the Homewood Chamber of Commerce, the Oak Forest Chamber of Commerce and was founding President of the Hazel Crest Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Lisa Wilson
Dr. Lisa Wilson graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lewis University in 2001. She then went on to pursue her doctorate in optometry from Illinois College of Optometry where she graduated cum laude in 2005. As a part of her training Dr. Wilson completed four intensive internship programs, some of which were in the Chicagoland area. During these programs she was trained on the treatment and management of numerous ocular diseases including Glaucoma, Age-Related Macular Degeneration, and Dry Eye Syndrome. Dr. Wilson also gained experience fitting many kinds of contact lenses.
Dr. Wilson grew up in a small town in central Illinois. She moved to the Chicagoland area in 1997 to pursue her schooling. She joined Kirschner Vision Group in 2005 and is excited to provide her patients with the utmost in eye care. Dr. Wilson is also a member of the American and Illinois Optometric Associations.
Dr. Genine Graff
Dr. Genine Graff was born and raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
She attended Mother McAuley High School and continued her undergraduate work at
the University of Iowa. Dr. Graff earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the prestigious Illinois
College of Optometry. During her time there, she was the recipient of a number
of awards recognizing her clinical excellence as well as her commitment to
community service. Dr. Graff completed four intensive internship programs which included extensive
training in the treatment and management of ocular disease at the University of
Chicago. Dr. Graff also brings with her much experience in LASIK and cataract
co-management, contact lens fitting, as well as glaucoma and dry eye
management.
Dr. Graff joined Kirschner Vision Group in 2009 and is a member of the
American and Illinois Optometric Associations
